2020 March - Qatar One-TV guarantees the airing of the Moto2 and Moto3 races

The MotoGP race, scheduled for March 8 in Qatar for the opening of the season, was canceled due to the closure of the airports, decreed by the local authorities, which made it impossible for riders and technicians to reach the Losail International Circuit. However, given that teams and riders from the lower classes had already arrived in Qatar for the three days of official tests, the authorities allowed the Moto2 and Moto3 races to take place.

One-TV - Professional Show, in charge of filming, found itself at this point having to manage a very complicated technical situation, given the impossibility of sending its technicians and equipment to the site to complete and support the central core, the POD (Unit 11 of One-TV) luckily already arrived on the spot.

The One-TV team, led by technical director Andrea Gianolli, in a very short time managed to prepare, at the Limena headquarters (Italy), a remote direction in direct and continuous connection with that of the POD at the Losail circuit in Qatar.

This technical exploit, made possible by the skill and inventiveness of the One-TV technicians, but also by the flexibility of the POD (of which Andrea Gianolli is also a designer) has allowed us to make high-quality shots, in the usual One-standard TV.

Finally, a welcome (and deserved) appreciation for the brilliant management of the difficult emergency came from the managers of Dorna.
