A record-breaking night for Italian volleyball. The Women's Volleyball World Championship final between Italy and Turkey on Rai 1 captured the attention of an extraordinary audience, exceeding all expectations.

With a remarkable 4,123,000 viewers and a 33% share, the event dominated the television ratings, demonstrating the huge passion Italians have for volleyball and their support for the women's national team.

This ratings triumph not only celebrates the great sporting victory of the 'Azzurre' but also marks a significant milestone. The viewing figures for Italy-Turkey surpassed the already notable numbers for the US Open final between Sinner and Alcaraz, which garnered 2,437,000 viewers with a 15.5% share on SuperTennis. This highlights how the success of the women's volleyball team united and captivated the entire country, writing another golden page in the history of Italian sport.
